n.18 - Follow your dream or play it safe?

In this post I'm going to talk about our dreams, dreams that often become our goals, and sometimes they keep being alive only in our minds.
In both of this case we are winners, because at least we have a dream.
It happens that people who have not one, they try to look for it through their friends, their parents, their brothers or sisters.
The truth is our dreams can born only inside us, and if we haven't them, maybe it means that we already have everything we need.

As time passes, dreams reflect what we want to do when we grow up, and we often find ourselves in front of a choice: choosing for a stable and safe job or following the dream, doing what we love?

It's always a tough decision. Sometimes you can stress yourself out, trying to pick which is the best for you, asking advice to who know you for a life, and going back to the square one, because who can take the decision is only us.

I don't judge anyone, either the choices made. I think we do what we feel, what make us happy. 

Before act, we feel stuck, because we are afraid to do a mistake, and regret it in the future.

First, all the experience we do, can come in handy for our projects and in several situations;

Second, we can change our position when we want, doing more sacrifices and believe in us more than ever. I've known a 35-years-old woman, who quit her job as lawyer because she understood it wasn't a suitable job for her, and she decided to take a second degree in pedagogy. Indeed she told me that she has always felt this feeling inside that made her understand it wasn't the right way. Plus she was a really good lawyer, but is also true that she's good in everything. For that it was hard to make a decision. (A/N. A really strong personality);

Third, if you take a choice and after few years you understand it was the wrong one, you can change in a short time. 

The rule number one is: Believe in yourself.

You need to be the first person to believe in and trust your feelings!

On the contrary, who chooses to follow the dream path doesn't have to be afraid to doesn't find a job, to waste time, to change minds on the way, to think that will never earn money enough for living.

Just do it! 

But if the worst comes to the worst, you tried! 

You can be proud of you in any case.

Trying to reach our dream can't be a waste of time! Never can be! It will be always an uphill road!

There will be always a result. Especially a moral one.

You don't be afraid if other people don't agreed with you, they aren't you. Perhaps they can think to know what is the best for you, but they don't.

Only you can know it.

Only you can make this choice.

The rule number two is: make a choice is the first thing of which you have to be proud.

It means that you want only the best for your life.

That's the moment in which we discover who we really are, and what we really want for our future.

We take our risks. We grow up, no matter the age, you never stop growing.

Eventually we have to, and the impact can be shocking.

But we have always our dreams that keep us alive and full of hopes for a better future.

The last rule but not the least is: don't give up your dreams. Let your imagination run. Always.

You can always get better.

n.1 - Quando hai un'idea in testa...

Comincio citando un aforisma di Diderot, a cui mi sono ispirata per il titolo di questo blog.

L'idea di questo spazio è nata da un sogno, irrealizzabile o meno che sia l'importante è seguirlo, no? 

Perciò come Diderot segue ogni sua idea e le corteggia come se fosse una puttana, io faccio lo stesso e comincio quest'avventura sul web.

Scriverò ogni mia riflessione, ogni mio pensiero così da poterlo condividere, perché è un sentimento che sento prepotente dentro di me, e mi spinge a comunicare.

Ringrazio fin da ora chiunque commenterà, o meglio anche solo avrà curiosità di leggere il mio piccolo angolo dei pensieri.

Quando hai un'idea in testa...

Non vi è mai capitato di scoprire di avere un sogno, un obiettivo, e di volerlo raggiungere a qualunque costo, perché sapete che è quella la vostra strada e il vostro futuro?

Immagino che alla maggior parte di voi è capitato.

Ebbene io ho un sogno, non so se sarà il mio futuro, non so se riuscirò a raggiungerlo, ma perché tarparmi le ali e non provarci?

Mi è capitato di consultarmi con la mia famiglia e i miei amici su questa mia idea, alcuni mi supportano pienamente mentre altri credono sia una sciocchezza. Riflettendo, mi sono resa conto che il primo gruppo di persone che mi incita, riesce a farlo perché è ancora in grado di sognare, e il resto delle persone sono ormai parte del sistema, dove non ti stupisci più, dove le speranze e i sogni ti vengono strappati via, sostituendoli allo scetticismo e alla monotonia.

Tempo fa ho letto un libro "Il mondo di Sofia", che ha stravolto i miei pensieri e mi ha reso capace di creare una mia filosofia. 

Ho compreso che non bisogna dar per scontato nulla nella nostra vita, bisogna sapersi meravigliare di tutto e per sempre. Bisogna esser capaci di sognare, a qualsiasi età, in qualsiasi posto.

La fantasia è il più grande dono e ingegno della mente umana, perché farne a meno? 

Senza la mia fantasia il mondo sarebbe meno colorato, forse in bianco e nero, e con alcune sfumature di grigio quando i due colori si mischiano in qualche luogo. 

Ma la fantasia è magia, è una magia che si coltiva da piccoli e ci fa compagnia durante la nostra vita...

è una magia fatta di così tanti trucchi che neanche David Copperfield saprebbe svelare.

I sogni, la maggior parte, nascono da un disegno nella nostra testa, e poi la Fantasia lo colora. A volte la Fantasia esce fuori dallo schema, distorcendo un pò l'immagine, su cui per un attimo ci soffermiamo e ci rendiamo conto che quel disegno potrebbe anche far parte di uno più grande; quindi allarghiamo il disegno e riempiamo di colori anche la parte appena fatta, questa volta il colore resta all'interno del bordo perché quest'ultimo non è fine come l'altro è più spesso e più marcato, è definito e non incerto e pallido.

Quando l'idea è ferma, e quando noi ne siamo sicuri, non c'è nessuno che ce la possa far cambiare, rompere un sogno talmente bello da sembrare reale.

Bisogna crederci.

La magia la creiamo noi, è dentro di noi, siamo noi.

Quel che dobbiamo fare è aprire la nostra mente al mondo e rendercene conto.
